Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. This was the final Tri-State Hearing Convention. A recommended way to stay in contact with educational opportunities in our area is to bookmark the three states' Hearing Societies websites. Those links can be found under the "News" tab from this website. From the bottom of our hearts, we appreciate each and every person who has ever attended Tri-State in the past 50 years and all of the amazing support from the manufacturers. It has been a pleasure partnering with you all. We had an opportunity to recognize Bill Austin from Starkey for being a 50 year constant for Tri-State at the Thursday night Welcome party. There was a classy 50th Anniversary dinner party Saturday night where we recognized Ron Scheurer of RJS Acoustics for his selfless service to this industry in the three states, including education, support and service. He and his wife Nona started Tri- State in 1972 and made it a valuable place for hearing healthcare providers to get quality continued education while also making it a great time for fellowship with people in the industry. The themed parties and dinners were always a class act. There are so many people to recognize for their most amazing efforts throughout the years and we appreciate them all. One person that must be mentioned is the Executive Director after Nona Scheurer retired, Patsy Lenhard, she led Tri-State for an additional 20 years and kept the integrity of the event and the educational opportunities. Thank you for being our friends in the hearing healthcare industry. Sincerely, Tammy Wilson Executive Director and the Tri-State Board of Directors Pam Hays: Bob Shepard: Cheryl Blackman: Chris Gustafson: Connie Furry: Keith Wilson:
